PARX PUBLISHING

The concept behind Parx Publishing is simple: Parx wanted an indie publishing company with major reach. Hers is a boutique agency that puts the emphasis on craft, not quantity, while helping songwriters hone their talents. As an established songwriter herself, Parx knows the pitfalls of music publishing. Parx Publishing, a joint venture with Warner Chappell, has a distinct approach, centered on encouraging and supporting songwriters as if they were family. “I want writers to feel like they have someone within the company pushing for them,” Parx says. “This isn’t an assembly line. we are not trying to reach a quota.” Instead, Parx Publishing is cementing a reputation for quality and consistency, guided by Parx’s commitment to excellence.

PARX STUDIOS

Self-sufficiency is a big deal for Parx, who prefers to keep her operations in-house, and Parx Studios is a centerpiece of her vision. Headquartered in Los Angeles, Parx Studios is a hub for designers, directors, photographers, stylists—all the creative disciplines a self-starter like Parx might need. “It’s a creative collective, really, like a think tank,” she says. “I want to create ecosystems that allow us to take it to the next level, that makes it easier for somebody to create.” By establishing the ecosystem and nurturing the creators, Parx is giving her collaborators a rare opportunity: the chance to make something genuinely new.

3020 MANAGEMENT

Parx believes that artist management is built on strong communication. That’s the essential idea behind 3020 Management, which Parx started in 2018 to provide the kind of management resources she felt was missing in her own career. “You’re able to create good business when you have people who are on the same page about getting to the end goal,” Parx says. Her approach to management stems from her own experience on the creative side of the music business, where she’s learned first-hand how to look out for her own best interests. With 3020 Management, Parx is helping her clients collaborate with artists, producers and writers who are building the future of music. “We want our clients to be successful, whatever that means for them,” Parx says. “We’re nurturing smarter creatives, and we’re setting them up for longevity in their careers.”

TRAILER PARX

Parx is doing so much more than concert T-shirts with her Trailer Parx line. She’s a one-woman lifestyle brand with passion and vision, collaborating with artists and designers through her Parx Studios creative hub on clothing that mixes high fashion with streetwear, plus accessories, self-care, home décor and more. “Trailer Parx is really an expression of my style,” says Parx. Her style is bold and colorful, edgy but sweet, in a way that transcends gender boundaries. “It’s very much a reflection of my personality,” Parx furthers. “It’s about having clothes and items that go along with that, versus just slapping my face on a T-shirt.”
