Los Angeles, CA (March 21, 2025)—Today, breakthrough singer-songwriter and producer sombr unveils a new song, “undressed”—listen here via Warner Records.

Since teasing the track earlier this month, “undressed” has reached 9.5 million views osn TikTok—amassing 5.4 million views and 1.4 million likes in the first 72 hours on the app—making it his most reactive teaser to date.

The new single follows sombr’s smash hit “back to friends” which debuted on three Billboard charts last week, a career first for the rising artist, reaching #23 on Hot Alternative, #24 on Hot Rock and #33 on Hot Rock & Alternative songs charts.

The song has accumulated over 33 million listens on Spotify alone—and continues to rapidly accelerate—entering Spotify’s U.S. and Global Daily Charts this week as the highest new entry. “back to friends” is hitting new peaks outside of the U.S., including in the U.K., Canada, Australia and more.

A New York-native raised on the Lower East Side, sombr—born Shane Boose—started making music in his bedroom while studying classical music as a student at the prestigious public school, LaGuardia High School. His breakout hit “Caroline” (2022) took the internet by storm, and he has since released a series of EPs and singles, climbing to over 7 million Spotify monthly listeners and 2 million daily streams. Now based in Los Angeles, sombr continues to explore young romance and heartbreak through his music—all of which is self-written and released via Warner Records.
