Emerging Norwegian artist Jakob Ogawa’s new EP, April, is out now on Playground Music. “The EP is all about relationships. ‘Atari Acid’ is in many ways the first part of the story, ‘April’ follows, while ‘You And I’ is just…bliss,” says Ogawa. Listen to EP here: https://jakob-ogawa.ffm.to/april

In support of the release, Ogawa is extending his run of North American tour dates into the fall, including stops at Denver’s Larimer Lounge, Portland’s Hawthorne Theater and Seattle’s The Vera Project as well as a performance at the Desert Daze Festival. See below for complete tour dates. 

Ogawa kick-started his career in 2017 with “All Your Love,” which quickly became a tastemaker favorite. Later that year, he released his highly anticipated debut EP, Bedroom Tapes, to critical praise. High Snobiety declared, “Jakob Ogawa has effortlessly nailed the kind of lo-fi bedroom pop that straddles the line between ebulliently-warm and achingly-heartbreaking,” while The FADER included him in their list of the “15 Scandinavian artists to listen to in 2018.”
