DAVE COBB NOMINATED FOR
PRODUCER OF THE YEAR, NON-CLASSICAL
AT 63RD GRAMMY AWARDS

Six-time Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb is nominated for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical at the 63rd GRAMMY Awards. The live awards ceremony will be broadcast Sunday, January 31 at 8:00PM ET/7:00PM CT on CBS.

The nomination celebrates several of Cobb’s projects from the past year including Airbourne’s Boneshaker, The Highwomen’s The Highwomen, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit’s Reunions, Kaleo’s “Backbone,” Lori McKenna’s The Balladeer, Oak Ridge Boys’ Down Home Christmas, John Prine’s “I Remember Everything,” William Prince’s “The Spark” and Teddy Swims’ You’re Still The One.

As producer-in-residence at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A, Cobb continues to produce records for some of the most influential artists in music including Barry Gibb, Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton, Lukas Nelson, Anderson East, Brent Cobb, Dawes, Rival Sons, Elle King, Shooter Jennings, Jamey Johnson, Amanda Shires, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Chris Shiflett, A Thousand Horses and many more. He also produced “Always Remember Us This Way,” performed by Lady Gaga for the A Star Is Born soundtrack.

Born in Savannah, Georgia, Cobb has become known as one of music’s most in-demand collaborators, regardless of genre. Since moving to Nashville in 2011, he has won six GRAMMY Awards, two CMA Awards, four Americana Music Awards and was named Producer of the Year at the 2018 MusicRow Awards.
